How it works
How remote tacho downloading works
A small unit fitted behind the dash connects to the truck’s digital tachograph. It sends the downloads over the mobile network to our secure online system, so nobody has to plug in a download key or bring the truck back to the yard.
The files arrive in the same legal .ddd format as a manual download, so they count for compliance and can go straight into analysis.

Compatibility
Will it work with my tachograph?
Most digital tachographs fitted to trucks in recent years support remote downloading, including the newer smart tachographs. Tell us the make, model and year of your trucks when you ask for a quote and we’ll confirm before anything is fitted.
Remote downloads come with live GPS tracking and fuel monitoring for each truck, so one unit does the lot.

Remote tacho download questions
What is a remote tacho download?
It’s a tachograph download done over the mobile network instead of by plugging a download key into the truck. The vehicle unit and driver card files arrive in our online system automatically, in the same legal format.
Does the driver need to do anything different?
No. The driver uses their card as normal, and while it’s in the tachograph it’s downloaded on schedule.
Where does my company card go?
It stays in your office. Each download is authenticated remotely, so the card never has to travel between trucks.
How long do I keep the files?
At least 12 months, available for the RSA if they ask. Every file stays in your online account, so you can pull any of them up in seconds.
How much does it cost?
Remote downloads are part of our Pro package at €15 a vehicle a month plus VAT, along with live tracking and fuel monitoring. Analysis is extra: €4 a vehicle a month self-managed, or €120 a month fully managed.
Is there a long contract?
No. You can cancel any time with 30 days’ notice.
