This privacy policy explains how Fleet Functions collects and uses personal data through this website, fleetfunctions.ie. It covers website visitors and people who contact us or ask for a quote. Customers using our tracking, camera or tachograph services receive separate terms covering the data those services process.

What we collect and why
Quote requests and enquiries. When you fill in our quote form, ring or email us, we collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, county, and details about your vehicles and what you need. We use this to reply to you and prepare a quote. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Website analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether the quote form is sent or a phone number is tapped. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes your IP address and device information. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the cookie settings on this site. If you do not consent, analytics cookies are not set.
Technical data. Our web server keeps standard logs, such as IP address, browser and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services (Ireland), which hosts this website
- Google, which provides our email (Google Workspace) and, with your consent, Google Analytics
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and enquiries for up to 24 months, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them for as long as needed for your account and our legal obligations. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@fleetfunctions.ie. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
